2. Let be and let go meditation

This is the second practice in The Art of Feeling at Home. As this work is just beginning, it is helpful to return to the practice regularly, allowing the body and mind to open in their own time and rhythm.

This meditation explores the natural cycles of tension and release in both breath and body. Through four stages, you are invited to hold the breath for a moment, gently contract your body, notice the point of increased effort, and then gradually let go. The practice offers a way to become more aware of how tension is experienced and how release unfolds when it is allowed. Over time, repeated practice may support a growing sense of familiarity with your physical and emotional experience, simply through showing up and staying present.
